Pistol Whip Hopes to Take the Addictive Gameplay of Beat Saber and Add Gunplay Mechanics

It’s hard to deny how astoundingly huge Beat Saber is as a game.

Depending on who you ask, some gamers even think it is the killer IP for VR right now.

Of course, when you get attention like that, other people want to follow in your more-than-successful footsteps.

Meet Pistol Whip, a game that was unveiled at E3 2019 from Cloudhead Games.

It basically promises to capture the intense, addictive mechanics that make Beat Saber awesome but add a touch of flare to it that is reminiscent of an action film or fellow VR blockbuster Superhot VR.

Best of all is the promise that Pistol Whip will be available for all major VR platforms according to Polygon AND that it will be coming out this year. If you’ve been looking for something to break up your sessions of Beat Saber or Superhot VR, Pistol Whip could be that title.
