Spring is here and the anticipation of warmer weather has everyone excited for outdoor activities. Unfortunately, the pandemic has put a hold on many activities that would normally be enjoyed this season such as going to the gym or group exercise classes. But just because getting out isn’t possible doesn’t mean you can’t stay in shape. There are still plenty of ways to make sure you stay healthy while staying safe within your home.
One way to do this is by setting up an at-home gym with affordable yet effective equipment such as resistance bands, weights, and even jump rope or battle ropes. Another option would be engaging in online workout video streams offered by professional coaches and trainers that you don’t have access to when outside the home. Lastly, running indoors on a treadmill for any skill level remains an easy go-to choice! However if weather permits it is always good practice to get some fresh air every now and then with low impact exercises such as walking or biking around your neighborhood.
Overall there are no excuses not to be active during springtime so long as safety guidelines remain top of mind while finding indoor alternatives that allows us all physical activity while being safe from potential harm!
