Mattia Casalegno’s unique installation, Aerobanquets RMX made its debut at Miami Art Week as a multisensory experience combining VR technology with high-qualilty meals from Michelin-starred chef Chintan Pandya. Guests had the option to choose between regular or vegan menus, each of which included five to seven dishes and were narrated by Top Chef judge Gail Simmons. Mattia also developed a custom accessory for Metas Touch controllers designed to track the location of their meal in virtual reality. Combining immersive technology and gastronomy like never before, Aerobiquettes RMX provided an unforgettable dining experience that explores F.T. Marinetti’s The Futurist Cookbook while putting a spotlight on endangering environmental practices.
