This week, fans of the classic Masters of the Universe franchise are in for a treat; Mattel and Rec Room have announced an exclusive He-Man themed pop-up shop launching inside the innovative VR social platform, giving users the opportunity to transform into their favorite characters. For just over two months starting on October 15th, curious adventurers can don attire based off recognizable faces like He-Man, Skeletor and Teela within Castle Grayskull-themed photo booths. To get in on all this mythic action players will need to log into their free account either through Meta Quests, PC or PlayStation VR headsets. Additionally they also have full avatar costumes available up until March 31st via Rec Rooms dedicated store. This is yet another one of several collaborations between big brand names and organizations with Rec Room such as YouTuber MrBeast and most recently this Aprils NBA All Star tournament event honoring 2022 season participants. So climb onto your Battle Cat and embrace the Power Sword because everyone’s favorite cartoon heroes and villains from Eternia are waiting for you to join them at Rec Room!
