This past weekend marked the 6th annual International VR Awards in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The ceremony, which is held annually to recognize and celebrate the best in virtual reality gaming, hardware, films and companies was back for its first in-person celebration since 2019. After a drinks reception and three-course meal featuring an acrobatic performance from Andromeda Entertainment CEO John McClellan, 14 awards were presented honoring this year’s achievements. Among the winners included POLYARC GAMES – Moss: Book II (VR Game of the Year), Pico – Pico Neo3 Link (VR Hardware of the Year) and Dr Jacquelyn Ford Morie who won Accenture’s VR Lifetime Achievement Award.
The awards are intended not only to recognize success within industries surrounding VR but also boost further innovation across the globe with each advancement made in immersive technologies.
