Developed by Dr Bloc, VR platformer Straylight is set to release its full 1.0 version next year on Meta Quest (including App Lab and SideQuest), PC VR, and PSVR. It promises “easy-to-learn yet hard-to-master mechanics” as you grab onto stars like anchor points and shoot beams to propel yourself around obstacles in a “gorgeous yet deadly obstacle course that evokes the simplicity, difficulty, and fun of old school platform gaming.” The full version includes 24 levels plus leaderboards and achievements while also offering players collectible Ghosts they can race against or beat their own time with. Previously set for Q3 2021, the official Straylight release will arrive January 31st 2023 with the announcement trailer available below. Early access is already available now on Steam at $19.99 USD for PC VR users
