Team Beef, known for their VR ports of classic PC games, most recently announced they are developing a port of Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy for Quest and Pico headsets and plan to launch the development build to Patreon backers “over the next month or so.” At this time Team Beef is also working on a separate port Jedi Outcast that was released as an “in-development” build last November. Additionally, both ports will have a ‘Companion App’ for mod downloads and auto-installation when completed. As with all Team Beef projects, players must obtain copies of the original game from Steam ($9.99 each) in order to enjoy playing it in VR.
They recently opened up voting amongst patrons over Trello as to what their next project should be – currently taking suggestions from January 13-15th!
