This week, tech giant Razer made their much-anticipated jump into the virtual reality market with the launch of their adjustable headset and facial interface accessories for Meta Quest 2. Designed in collaboration with medical equipment company ResMed, Razer’s eye-catching product line promises users comfort and longer play sessions thanks to its precision engineering technology.
The adjustable head strap is constructed out of strong nylon material and uses three velcro straps to provide an optimally comfortable fit. Providing good stability when moving your head side-to-side and up or down, the lightweight design still feels secure on the wearer’s crown upon wearing it — unlike other plastic alternatives.
Meanwhile, Razer has also released a facial interface that boasts thin but textured contoured membranes that provide users of all kinds skin relief during long gaming sessions without compromising vision quality. Hypoallergenic silicone materials are used to reduce skin irritation while vents placed around aid airflow to prevent lens fogging and further sweating. Both products have been available in US stores at $69 apiece (with plans set for expansion across other regions) so be sure to try them out if you’re looking an upgrade experience!
