Welcome to another week of our spotlight on the incredible people crafting unique virtual experiences with Meta Horizon Worlds! It’s always exciting to see what new, creative projects these builders have dreamed up. In this installment, we’re thrilled to showcase four cutting-edge VR projects from individuals around the world.
First is a suspenseful horror game: Heart Attack, developed by programmer Shelley Rich in association with Varya Shvitko. Players must survive an attack while trapped in an abandoned mansion – complete with its own strange monsters and eerie atmosphere. What makes it even more impressive? The Mansion has been rebuilt entirely inside Metaverse Horizons using Unity 3D and 3ds Max software!
The next exhibit takes us into outer space with Ilan Shapira’s “Enter Oberon” – a world-building journey through deep space exploration within unity3D scenes and creating your own adventure! Highly detailed levels create an immersive experience as you explore uncharted planets made from overlapping meshes and particles effects that bring life into their universe. Shapira uses photogrammetry assets combined with modularity tools for level building which results in realistic interiors & exteriors built for durability & ease of configuration. These intricate textures enable a feeling of being ‘out there’!
Finally, Jesse Dos Santos contributes OuterBoundaries – a visually stunning technicolour walkabout where players can freely explore mysterious locations populated by vibrant wildlife spread across diverse terrains . There are also gameplay challenges scattered throughout like jumping alongside mountain bikers or navigating obstacle courses allowing for different paths for exploration each time you revisit the landscape! With outstanding graphics generated through map editing technology Mesa (Map Editors Scripting Agent) in Unreal Engine 4 powered by Nvidia GTX 1050Ti GPU , no two play sessions will be alike – making this one definitely worth checking out if you ever get the chance!!!
