Last month, the Forever Young Foundation and Johnson STEM Activity Center teamed up to launch a project that will help creativity and problem solving flourish in the Atlanta area. The Creators Zone is a versatile space designed to foster creativity among students aged 11-17 years old.
The Creators Zone was built with over $70,000 of donations from Forever Young foundation members who are committed to providing our young innovators access to resources needed for future achievement. The center includes a makeshift recording studio, computer facilities for video projects, robotics labs equipped with 3D printers as well as other creative endeavors such as mural painting and virtual reality gaming areas. In addition, mentors from various industries provide guidance on techniques used in photography film editing or learning coding skills amongst others to give kids the most comprehensive learning experience when visiting the center .
This location aims at engaging participants’ minds which helps strengthen their logic thinking capacities while also having fun utilizing these new resources provided by both organizations. Visiting this place you can learn more about artificial intelligence , machine learning , technology ( solar) projects and also find entrepreneurship opportunities thanks to career talks every Sunday morning organized by Forever Young founders!
