The highly anticipated mixed reality headset Lynx R1 is officially starting its shipping process, with hundreds of the devices already being prepared. After delaying shipments due to pandemic-related supply chain issues in 2021, Kickstarter backers will be some of the first to receive their headsets between March and April 2023.
Lynx brings an immersive experience with a battery located in the back for better balance as well as color passthrough and built-in hand tracking capabilities. Custom controllers are also expected to come out later this year.
