This week, HTC has finally let the curtains fall on the mysterious headset they’ve been teasing for months. With a focus on bringing meaningful virtual and augmented reality to consumers, the all-in-one device boasts a light weight of two hours battery life, 6 DOF VR controllers, optical hand tracking and color passthrough MR. Additionally it may also include an advanced depth sensor that is capable of advanced room mapping and better dynamic range. Finally speculated to be featuring faster capabilities than Quest2’s Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chipset as well as possible eye tracking and privacy protections for its externally facing cameras makes this a much anticipated product for CES 2021 at Las Vegas Nevada 5th January onwards!
