IO Interactive is at it again, rebranding their iconic stealth shooter game Hitman 3 with the new name Hitman World of Assassination. This change will include a free upgrade for previous owners of Hitman 3 on all platforms—meaning they won’t have to navigate through complicated purchasing processes or worry about which edition to buy and what content they own. It’s all in this one purchase!
The price will go up slightly from $60 to $70, but players that purchase the introductory package will get access to not just the latest installment of the blockbuster series but also to its predecessors, 1 & 2 – making it an enormous value-pack of goodness goodenough that Steam awarded it VR Game Of The Year. PC players also benefit as they can play using motion controllers, bringing more immersive gameplay experiences than ever before possible with a tactile feel similar real life assassination scenarios experienced by gamers worldwide (okay maybe not).
