Polyarc’s Moss: Book 2 has emerged a winner at the 2021 VR Awards. On this prestigious occassion, it managed to overcome stiff competition from some of the most acclaimed titles in the field such as Star Wars: Tales from Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call, After The Fall, Lone Echo 2 and Zenith: The Last City among others. It also beat Resident Evil 4 which won Best VR/AR at The Game Awards 2021.
Our own review for Moss book 2 was overall positive with its various puzzles and combat mechanics proving to be surprisingly innovative in virtual reality scenarios. Since its initial release on PSVR last year, it has now been made available on PC VR via Steam and Quest2 platform as well.
The other noteworthy winners included Pico Neo 3 Link taking home ‘VR Hardware of the Year’, Namoo by Baobab Studios receiving ‘VR Film of the Year’ honor while fellow recipient AnotherWay took ‘Rising VR Company of the Year’ along with The MetaMovie Presents: Alien Rescue securing ‘VR Experience of the Year’. Adding onto that success streak is guest entry into Geof Keighley’s highly respected Game Award 2022 where Moss Book 2 is nominated for Best AR/VR award alongside Among Us Vr, Bonlelab and Red Matter II. Meanwhile F1 22 stands alone in nomination for Best Sports/ Racing segment introducing an even wider audience to virtual gaming formats making waves across all media channels since last year.
