Schell Games, the developers behind Among Us VR, have detailed their plans for 2023 and how they plan to build upon their successful launch of the game. In addition to in-game reporting tools and voice chat moderation for improved experiences, custom lobby settings will be included in post-launch updates. A new map is also planned which would bring with it collaborations, hats, and other improvements for accessibility. Players should look forward to Discord shenanigans as well!
These post-launch updates were teased after their critically acclaimed release that blended challenge under pressure of death with next level strategy and planning required from players. The success has resonated as Among Us VR is available now on Meta Quest platforms and PC via Steam at $9.99 with support for cross play across all virtual reality platforms going forward through PSVR 2 when it launches in 2023.
